The Vikings will move into an on-campus stadium for the first time, and the stadium will host football, soccer, band and physical education activities. This field is the first synthetic turf installation on the high school level in the state of Florida. With over 125,000 square feet of area, the Prestige System serves as the home of the Lions inter-scholastic sports as well as a valuable teaching station for physical education and intramurals for the entire student body. The Prestige field is a part of athletic capital improvement plan which created a new stadium, synthetic running track, baseball and softball fields, as well as new locker rooms and coaching facilities. Coach Mark Guandolo and the Lions won their first state championship in 2003, and the 2A team was voted the top high school team in all classes for the state of Florida. The Lions followed-up with a repeat state championship in 2005! Installation will be complete in December 2010 prior to the 2011 Orange Bowl festivities.
